Intro to media: consumption

- None apart from the times that was studied in gcse media
- What sections of newspapers do you turn to first, and why?
- Probably sports as I'm interested about sports around the world in general

- The political sections as majority of the time the paper will be biased in a certain direction
- What kinds of stories do you usually read and why?
- Stories involving musical artists i listen to as music is something I'm very passionate about

- No one
- Do you look at the online versions of any newspapers? Which newspapers? Why do you visit their website and not others?
- I usually just look at the daily mails tik tok account as it summarizes most stories into a small and easily understandable headline

- None

- I would probably read the more gossip like sections as they may have pop culture figures i follow
Television

- I mostly like true crime and professional wrestling (WWE) as I find them the most entertaining and interesting

- I Normally watch alone but if I'm with family my dad decides

- I primarily use my phone but sometimes use my Playstations browser

- Tik Tok, Snapchat, YouTube, Instagram and i use these mostly for the entertainment aspect but also for communication
Final section: reflection
- How can you develop the amount and variety of media you consume?
- By being more open minded to recommendations given to me by those around me
- What will you change in your media consumption habits this year as a result of studying A Level Media?
- I will attempt to consume less short form content to better my attention span and also try to consume more media that will benefit my studies
