 The sound helps to establish the time period by using non diegetic 70s music as well as using diegetic dialogue that would stereotypically be used by police officers in the 70s. The sound of the cars helps to establish the setting as it shows its likely a police chase. The diegetic sound of dialogue clearly conveys the time period and the vibe to expect throughout the show as it creates an obvious indicator for the type of vocabulary used throughout. The diegetic sound of the high intensity car chase sets the stage for the type of narrative to expect for the show. The costume also clearly sets a standard of expectations for the TV show. The type of cars clearly dhow that its set in the 70s as well.

The immediate stop of all diagetic sound when Fletcher walks in perfectly characterizes his dominant and aggressive behavior. The small diagetic noise of Neimans drumsticks touching shows his nervousness.The sound bridge once the band starts playing from Neimans face to a shot of the whole room is used to show a shift in nature that we are about to see in bith Neiman and Fletcher. The sound bridge right after of Fletcher slowly walking towards Neiman represents the stress of Fletchers high intensity band coming towards him for the first time.
